Wilderness Medicine Resources- Beginner's Guide
When I was in first year I wondered where all this information WMS were teaching was coming from, these topics were certainly not taught in lectures and could not be found in the usual medical textbooks. I also found myself wanting to refresh some of the things that I had learnt at WMS sessions. So if you find yourself in the same position here are some of the best sources I have found for prehospital, wilderness and expedition medicine, feel free to message WMS if you have more ideas about what should be on this list!

If you do not know where to start either one of the oxford handbooks are great first books, and it is really easy to like a few facebook pages and get given updates.

I have just picked out one of their many blog titles, this is an amazing website, they have loads of really interesting resources, especially for fourth years who need help with ECG stuff and if you are searching for a specific prehospital subject they probably have an article on it.
